How to connect it to your HVAC

Run the hose into the air supply, the side of the system that blows air into your rooms.
A diffuser fills the air in a room, not the floor. We say square feet because that's the number you know about your home, and we assume normal 8 ft ceilings. Higher ceilings mean more air to fill, so the same diffuser covers a smaller home.

Do I have to connect it to my HVAC or air conditioning?
No. It works standalone on a shelf, the floor or the wall, and scents the open space around it. The parts to connect it to your HVAC are in the box for whenever, or if ever, you want them.
Which fragrance bottle should I buy with it?
If the scent is new to you, start with the 150 ml. Once you know you love it, the 500 ml lasts much longer. Both pour into the diffuser's own bottle.
How long does a bottle last?
It depends on the intensity you set, how many hours a day it runs and the size of the area. On average a 500 ml bottle lasts 1 to 3 months. At maximum intensity the ARO PRO uses about 5 g of oil per hour (±0.5 g). Most homes never need maximum.
Why do you measure in square feet?
Because that's the number you know about your home. A diffuser really fills the air in a room, so we assume normal 8 ft ceilings when we say 4,000 sq ft. If your ceilings are higher, it covers less. The fit helper above does that math for you.
My house has two AC systems. Do I need two diffusers?
Yes, two: one for each air handler. A diffuser can only scent the rooms its HVAC system reaches. The second one can often be smaller.
Can I connect it to my HVAC myself?
Many people do. The hose and connector attach to the air supply (the side of your system that blows air into your rooms) near the air handler; the quick guide walks through it. If you'd rather not, ask your HVAC technician.
Will it scent every room?
Connected to your HVAC, it reaches every room that system serves, while the fan is running. Rooms on a different system, or behind doors that stay closed, are not reached.
What if it stops working?
It's covered for one year from the day it arrives. Call 866-276-6359 or email support@aromely.com with your order number; if it needs repair or replacement we send you a prepaid shipping label.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery, and we pay the return shipping in the U.S. You're welcome to try it first. Just send it back in the same condition you received it: the original box, all the accessories, and no fragrance oil left in the tank or the hose. Fragrance bottles need to come back unopened.

Hotels, gyms, clinics and offices need a different setup: one unit per zone or HVAC system, fragrance by the gallon, paperwork on file. Our business team handles that.
