2. Opening & adding Oil
I M P O R T A N T ⚠️ Do not mix oil with water
To release the security pin and remove the bottle from your diffuser, place the included magnetic tag on the specific area of the diffuser where the lock mechanism is located. For this model, the area is on the side of the diffuser, as shown in the image. Once the magnetic tag is correctly positioned, the lock will release, allowing you to smoothly pull out the empty bottle.
- Pull the empty bottle out and add your favorite diffuser oil.
- Connect the diffuser to power (it will automatically start working on its default settings. Follow next step to download the APP and modify the settings).

Setup the App
- Search and download AROMELY App on Google Play or Apple App Store.
- Once downloaded, make sure the diffuser is connected to power and bluetooth is enabled on your device then click STANDALONE MODE.
- Touch your screen over the serial number, then press "OK", default password is ("9999").
- Once inside the app you will see 5 options: 1. Device Name to rename the diffuser, 2. Device Notes to add notes, 3. Change password to change the default password, 4. Fan to help improve airflow and 5. Working Mode (where we will be customizing the settings and intensity)
- Press on the "Setting Up 1" area to access the programing edit mode. You can also switch the diffuser ON/OFF from here.
- Once on Edit Mode you will see 3 options:
- Week Set: To Choose the days of the week that you wish your diffuser to work.
- Time Range Setting: To set the daily working hours, "Start" time and "Over" time. For example from 8am to 10pm will be Start at 08:00 Over at 22:00.
- Rate: To set the aromatic intensity of your diffuser. "Run time" to establish the amount of seconds you wish the machine to diffuse oil and "Pause time" to establish the amount of seconds you wish the machine to pause the diffusion process.
HVAC Installation
- Make sure you have electricity near your HVAC
- Connect the hose to the quick nozzle to hose connector as shown in the image.
- Drill a hole to the supply duct. (just enough to fit the hose)
- Insert the hose to the supply duct just about 3 to 4 inches inside.

Yes, we offer a no-questions-asked return policy within 30 days. We only require that the diffuser is returned in normal wear and tear condition, including its original box and all its accessories.
What is the difference between P1 and P2?
The difference between P1 and P2 is the fan speed. P1 is fast, and P2 is slow.
Can I use other oil brands with the diffuser?
We recommend using Aromely oils, as they are specially formulated to work well with our diffusers. However, you can use other brands as long as you buy high-quality cold air diffuser oils.
The app doesn't recognize the diffuser. What can I do?
This usually happens if you didn't accept the necessary permissions when you installed the app. Please delete the app and reinstall it, making sure to accept all permissions during the installation process.
Can I mix oil with water in the diffuser?
No, all our diffusers are waterless. Just pour the oil directly into the diffuser bottle and enjoy it.
What is the bottle size of the ARO-HOME diffuser?
The ARO-HOME diffuser has a bottle with a maximum capacity of 200ml.
Can the diffuser be installed in an attic with high temperatures?
Yes, the diffuser is designed to work in both high and low temperatures.
What is the coverage of the ARO-HOME diffuser?
The recommended maximum coverage for the ARO-HOME diffuser is 1,200 square feet when installed in an HVAC system.
How long will a 200ml bottle last on the ARO-HOME Diffuser?
Depending on the intensity setting and hours of operation each day, a 200ml bottle will last on average between 1 to 3 months.
How do I reset my ARO-HOME Diffuser if I forget the password?
To reset the password on your ARO-HOME Diffuser, quickly press the power button on the front of the diffuser three times in rapid succession. This will reset the password back to the default, which is 9999.
Why can't I detect the scent from my diffuser anymore?
A: There are a few reasons why you might not be able to detect the scent from your diffuser:
- Need for Cleaning: If your diffuser has been in use for many months, it might need cleaning or maintenance. Build-up from prolonged use can affect its performance. Please refer to our maintenance guide on how to clean your diffuser.
- Olfactory Fatigue: It's possible that you've become accustomed to the scent. This phenomenon, known as olfactory fatigue, occurs when your brain becomes desensitized to continuous stimuli. To determine if this is the case, ask someone who does not live in your home for their feedback, or turn off the diffuser for a few days. This break can help reset your sense of smell.
- Diffuser Malfunction: If the diffuser is clean and you still cannot detect the scent, there might be a malfunction with the unit. In this case, please contact our customer support for assistance. We'll be happy to help diagnose and resolve the issue.
How should I clean and maintain my diffuser?
A: Regular cleaning every 2 to 3 months is essential for the optimal performance and longevity of your diffuser. Here are the steps you should follow:
Materials Needed:
- Isopropyl alcohol (91% to 95%)
Instructions:
- Preparation: Ensure the diffuser is unplugged and placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Add Alcohol: Pour isopropyl alcohol into the diffuser tank, being careful not to overfill it. The alcohol concentration should be between 91% and 95%.
- Diffuse the Alcohol: Reconnect the diffuser and turn it on at the highest setting to diffuse the alcohol.
- Wait: Let the diffuser run for 15 to 20 minutes to thoroughly clean the system.
- Empty and Dry: After the cleaning cycle, turn off and unplug the diffuser. Carefully empty any remaining alcohol from the tank. Allow the diffuser to air dry completely to ensure all traces of alcohol have evaporated.
- Refill and Use: Once the tank is dry, refill it with your chosen essential oil, plug the diffuser back in, and continue using it as normal.
Following these steps regularly will help maintain your diffuser’s efficiency and ensure that it continues to provide a pleasant aroma in your space.
