Set up your ARO-CAR: charge it, add the oil, then pick Smart mode for the car or Timer mode for home and office.

1. Plug the USB-C cable into the port on the diffuser and into a 5 V USB charger, a laptop or the car’s USB port.
2. Let it charge fully before the first use. While charging the light flashes red; when the battery is full it flashes green.

1. Remove the atomizer head. Turn it a quarter turn (90°) counterclockwise and lift it off.
2. Take out the bottle.
3. Fill it with Aromely oil. The bottle holds 10 ml — about half an Aromely 20 ml bottle. Fill to the neck, not higher.
4. Put it back. Insert the bottle, seat the atomizer head and turn it clockwise until it stops.

The ARO-CAR has two buttons: the Power button (three curved lines) and the Mode button (clock icon). Everything below uses these two — there is no app.

• On: press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.
• Off: press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds again.

Smart mode senses the car moving: it diffuses while you drive, goes to sleep after 15 minutes without movement, and starts again as soon as the car moves. Use it when the diffuser lives in the car.

1. With the diffuser on, press and hold the Mode button for 2 seconds.
2. Check the light. When the blue indicator (the one marked AI on the unit) stays on, Smart mode is active.
3. Choose the intensity with the Power button (step 7). P2 suits most cars.

Timer mode ignores movement: the diffuser runs for the time you choose, then stops. Use it at home, at the office, in a small room up to 150 sq ft, or in the car while it is parked.

1. Switch Smart mode off. Press and hold the Mode button for 2 seconds until the blue indicator turns off.
2. Set the time. Short-press the Mode button to cycle through 2, 4 or 8 hours; the panel shows the selection.
3. Choose the intensity with the Power button (next step). P1 is enough for a desk or a nightstand.

Works in both modes. Short-press the Power button to cycle through the three levels; the panel shows P1, P2 or P3.

• P1 — light: 5 seconds of mist, then a 5-minute pause. Small cars, sensitive noses, nightstands.
• P2 — medium: 10 seconds of mist, then a 100-second pause. Most cars and desks.
• P3 — strong: 10 seconds of mist, then a 30-second pause. SUVs, vans, or a quick refresh.

1. Make sure the diffuser is charged and turned on (hold the Power button 2 seconds).
2. Press and hold the Mode button for 2 seconds while you record a short video of the indicator panel with your phone.
3. Send us the video — it lets us check the unit and sort it out quickly, usually the same day.
