- Fill with Isopropyl Alcohol: Add high-concentration isopropyl alcohol, ideally between 91% to 95%, to the bottle. This concentration is effective for dissolving stubborn oil residues.
- Run the Diffuser: Set your diffuser to a high-intensity setting and let it operate for about 30 minutes. The alcohol will help to cleanse and sanitize the interior components.
- Empty the Alcohol: After 30 minutes, turn off the diffuser and safely dispose of the isopropyl alcohol.
- Drying: Allow the bottle and diffuser components to air dry completely. It's crucial to ensure no alcohol residue remains before the next use.
- Refill and Use: Once everything is dry, you can refill the diffuser with your preferred oil and use it as usual.
This cleaning method is a good practice to maintain your diffuser, especially if you frequently change oils or notice a decrease in performance.
The lifespan of an Aromely oil bottle varies and typically ranges between 1 to 3 months. This duration is influenced by several factors, including:
- Type of Diffuser: Different diffusers consume oil at varying rates.
- Intensity Settings: Higher intensity settings use more oil.
- Usage Frequency: Regular use for several hours a day will deplete the bottle faster.
Given these variables, it's challenging to predict an exact timeframe. However, on average, users can anticipate their Aromely oil bottle to last anywhere from one to three months under normal usage conditions.
